- Warning: These log molds are professional-grade molds designed for use with "guitar" sheets (available in the shop). The manufacturing process of these thermoformed plastic molds may, in very rare cases, result in micro-perforations (approximately the size of a pinhead on the mold, up to 1mm). This is not a manufacturing defect and will not affect the primary purpose for which this log mold is intended: to hold thick liquids or tempered chocolate.

Some molds may have a slight deformation of the plastic, but this is not a defect. Again, the weight of the filling will cause the mold to take the desired shape. Sagging edges are also not a problem: any self-respecting pastry chef always trims the edges of the yule log for a neat and tidy presentation.

Generally speaking, these products are for professional use and what individuals consider "defects" are the inevitable result of the plastic stretching process during thermoforming; the weaknesses that appear at certain points of the thermoforming do not hinder the manufacture of the logs in any way.

How many slices of a Yule log do you get? On average, allow 3 cm per person. That is, provided no one asks for seconds!
