Warning: These log molds are professional-grade. They must be used with "guitar" baking sheets (available in the shop). Because the molds are made of thermoformed plastic, it is possible (in very rare cases) for the mold to have micro-perforations (the size of a pinhead). This is not a manufacturing defect and in no way affects the mold's primary purpose: to hold thick liquids or tempered chocolate. Some molds may have a slight deformation of the plastic, but this is not a defect. The weight of the filling will cause the mold to take the desired shape. Sagging edges are also not a problem: any self-respecting pastry chef always trims the edges of the log for a clean and neat presentation.

Generally speaking, these products are for professional use and what individuals consider "defects" are the inevitable result of the plastic stretching process during thermoforming; the weaknesses that appear at certain points of the thermoforming do not hinder the manufacture of the logs in any way.

How many slices of a Yule log do you get? On average, allow 3 cm per person. That is, provided no one asks for seconds!
