Instructions for use :

We recommend:

  • to use your printer at least once a week.
  • to perform regular cleaning of the print heads.
  • to install your printer in a dust-free location.
  • Remember to protect your printer from dust.
  • Print at least one image per week (to prevent the ink from drying out). If the colors are not printing correctly (due to lack of printer use), remove the ink cartridges and gently shake them. Reinsert the cartridges and then print a colorful image, such as a rainbow.

Contrary to what we often read, simply buying an ordinary printer and using it only with edible inks does not make the printer "food-grade".
Indeed, in the factory all printers are tested before being marketed with ordinary inks.
At Cook-shop, we carry out a complete cleaning of the print heads with appropriate cleaners in order to rid the printer of chemical residues.
Furthermore, manufacturers refuse to honor warranties on printers used under "non-compliant" conditions. Food-grade inks, in particular, are not compliant, and their use voids the manufacturer's warranty. At cook-shop, we cover the warranty on your printer for one year.
