The Colour Mill oil-soluble starter kit contains 12 x 20ml bottles of high-performance food colorings designed for preparations rich in fat. Thanks to their unique oil-based formula , these colorings diffuse evenly into complex materials such as buttercream , ganache , white chocolate , sugar paste , and cake batter .
Unlike traditional gel food colorings, Colour Mill colors love fats! This means the shades are more intense , brighter , and more stable over time, without fading or separation. Just a tiny drop is enough to achieve stunning results—ideal for cake decorating , icings, colored inserts, or chocolate decorations.
The bottle is equipped with a precise dosing cap , and you can even dilute the food coloring with a little alcohol to paint on your desserts. Only a small amount of colorant is needed. We recommend using no more than 2% of the product in which the color is mixed.
Please note that the weight of the pigments used in each color varies. Some will weigh more than others, but all colors have the same strength and are filled to the brim.
