Color Mill fat-soluble coloring

A small revolution in the world of fat coloring. Colour Mill colorants offer intense color. They allow the color to disperse throughout all parts of a fat-rich medium, including sugar, eggs, and butter. These oils mix much better than water-based gels (which are known to repel water from the oils in your baked goods).

Unlike regular color gels, Colour Mill thrives on the fats and oils present in your baked goods and uses them to disperse the special colorant formula. This results in stunningly vibrant and even shades that won't fade. It's especially effective in buttercream, Swiss meringue, chocolate, cake batter, ganache, and fondant. It's also suitable for flower pastes, gums, modeling pastes, royal icing, marzipan, cake mixes, pastries, glazes, isomalt, piping gel, cake lace mixes, and more.

Not only will your cakes look stunning, but Colour Mill will also help you get more color for your money. The high concentration means you use far less product than you normally would to achieve even brighter, more vibrant results. You only need a tiny drop at a time to get the desired shade—we recommend using the end of a cocktail stick.

Only a small amount of colorant is needed. We recommend using no more than 2% of the product in which the color is mixed.

Please note that the weight of the pigments used in each color varies. Some will weigh more than others, but all colors have the same strength and are filled to the brim.
