Crisco 450g is ideal for working with sugar paste. Crisco gives sugar paste a glossy finish when applied thinly to the surface. It can rehydrate sugar paste that has dried out too much and, when spread gently, can conceal cracks. In warm climates, it can also stabilize icings by replacing all or part of the butter.
